Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) is an option available on the Trawick Internationals Safe Travels First Class, Safe Travels Voyager, Safe Travels Journey, Safe Travels Flex, and Safe Travels Rental Plus. CFAR provides partial reimbursement of the insured prepaid, non-refundable trip costs when you cancel your trip for a reason not listed on the plan. This benefit is only available to U.S. Citizens and U.S. Residents.
You must quote one of the below plans and add the Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) benefit within the specified time frame from the initial deposit date. This optional upgrade is time-sensitive and must be purchased within the time frame listed on the plan. To see if you are eligible to purchase one of these plans with Cancel for Any Reason upgrade, the day after you first made a reservation or deposit for your trip is considered day one. To qualify for the CFAR benefit, you must also insure your entire non-refundable trip cost and any subsequent trip costs within the time frame listed on the plan. To use the CFAR option when canceling your trip, you must cancel your trip in its entirety, at least 2 days prior to your scheduled departure date. Please review the specific plans below for a list of available benefits and limitations/exclusions.

Safe Travels First Class
Specifically for US Citizens/US Residents while traveling to destinations in the USA or abroad. Insured by Nationwide, and featured in Forbes Magazine for up to $15,000 of trip cancellation. This plan also covers trip interruption, trip delay, lost baggage, emergency medical, emergency evacuation and repatriation. Optional Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) - Not available in NY or WA
- Valid for US Residents and US Citizens traveling within the U.S and/or internationally
- Plan is available for purchase 15 months in advance of departure
- Plan rates are per person, based on trip costs, number of days and age of traveler at the time of purchase
- Maximum trip length for ages 80+ is 30 days.
Safe Travels Voyager
The Safe Travels Voyager is designed for those who are looking for the highest available benefit limits to protect your trip. This plan covers trips up to $100,000 for trip cancellation and includes a $250,000 per person limit primary medical coverage with coverage for pre-existing medical conditions when purchased within 21 days of deposit and before final payment.
- Valid for US Residents and US Citizens traveling within the U.S and/or internationally
- For Age 14 days to 99 years of age
- Coverage for a maximum of 180 days
- Optional Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) is not available for residents of: New York, New Hampshire, and Washington. CFAR must be purchased within 21 days of initial trip deposit date
Safe Travels Journey
The Safe Travels Journey plan covers trips up to $50,000 for trip cancellation and includes $150,000 per person of excess medical coverage. The plan covers pre-existing medical conditions provided when coverage is purchased within 14 days of making your initial deposit and before final payment. Includes $2,000 for potential accommodations/lodging expenses due to trip delay.

- Plan is available for purchase 15 months in advance of departure
